SFP+AOC Active Optical Cables are fiber optic assemblies directly attached to SFP+ connectors. They are suitable for very short distances and provide a cost-effective way to connect between racks and opposite adjacent racks. On OM3 MMF, SFP+ active optical cables can be up to 300 meters in length.
Applications:
1. High-performance input/output of storage network.
2. Network Attached Storage, Storage Server.
